I was super excited to hear that Katya and Sergey were getting married! Katya and I go way back. We were good friends at university. And I was even more excited when she asked me to photograph her wedding! I shot their engagement session last weekend and I love how it turned out. We had so much fun!
To see more photos of Katya and Sergey check out this slideshow I made to be played at their wedding:

I can’t believe another year has come and gone. It seems the older I get the faster time passes. I’m still getting over the fact that I am now in my late twenties.
Having reflected back on the past few years I came to a conclusion that I wasn’t living my life to the fullest. I’ve somehow fallen into leading a pretty boring life. I guess the older you get the harder you have to work on making a conscious effort to live a fuller, richer life.
I loved the idea of creating an annual bucket list I’ve seen on some other people’s blogs so much that decided to steal it. So in an effort to keep my life interesting I made a list of 27 things I challenge myself to accomplish before my 28th birthday. I’ve set some ambitious goals, but I also made sure to include small things in my bucket list as well – things that can be accomplished easily, inexpensively and quickly (how hard can it be to make an origami crane?). This will allow me to make progress in between my larger, more grandiose goals. So here goes!
- Learn Dutch.
- Master free-lensing.
- Direct, shoot and edit a video.
- Drink more water.
- Eat healthier.
- Exercise consistently.
- Go hiking in the mountains.
- Have photos of me and my boyfriend taken.
- Keep my desk tidy.
- Learn to juggle.
- Learn to make an origami crane.
- Photograph the night sky.
- Learn to accessorize.
- Pull off red lipstick.
- Read at least 12 books.
- Rewatch Star Trek: TNG.
- See an opera.
- Try a banana beer.
- Shoot a roll of film.
- Write a business plan.
- Start my own business.
- Take a trip in a hot air balloon.
- Visit 12 cities/towns in the Netherlands I haven’t been to.
- Visit a country I haven’t been to.
- Confront my phobias.
- Laugh more.
- Remember that ‘done’ is better than ‘perfect’.
