A Look Back at 2017

I know we’re already two months in in 2018 and everyone and their grandmother has already posted their “best of’s” a while back, but better late than never.

These are just a few random shots I made in 2017, most of which I haven’t shared yet. They are not necessarily my favourite shots from a shoot (though some are), but rather some memorable moments and also a few that might be considered outtakes.

The photos are in chronological order (the first one here was taken on the 5th of January and the last one on the 20th of December) so hopefully you can see how Amsterdam (plus Keukenhof and Giethoorn) transforms as the seasons go through their changes in the background.

Surprise Proposal in Amsterdam: James & Linda

I got to photograph quite a few surprise proposals last year and I hope I get to capture more this year, because they are becoming my favourite thing to shoot.

James proposed to Linda in the beginning of November last year which came as a complete surprise to her (well done, James!). Linda got so emotional that I found it hard to hold back the tears myself.

If you’re planning to propose in Amsterdam (or anywhere else in the Netherlands), feel free to reach out to me and I will help you any way I can and be honoured to capture this beautiful moment for you to remember.

Amsterdam Family Photography: The Muldoons Anno 2016

The last shoot I’m going to share with you in 2017 before logging off is also one from autumn last year. We actually did another shoot with the Muldoon family this year, but I thought I’d share the one from 2016 first.

I’m making it my New Year’s resolution to do more family shoots next year. So if you would like me to make some casual family portraits for you in the coming year, don’t hesitate to drop me a line. Happy New Year, everyone!
